Depart the USA or Canada for India. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment.
On arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by a representative and transferred to your hotel.
After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of the hotel and the tour of Delhi, Old Delhi, an ancient historical city with more than 60,000 identifiable monuments, will begin. Visit the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque.
After lunch, we will see the Birla Temple, the India Gate, the Parliament House and the Presidential Palace in New Delhi. The tour continues with a visit to Emperor Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a landmark in the development of Mughal architecture.
On this morning drive to Jaipur, take a brief stop for a photo opportunity at the UNESCO World Heritage Qutab Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret. Continue traveling to Jaipur, the famed Pink City of India. The entire city was painted its unique pink color in 1876 to celebrate the visiting Prince of Wales.
Later, stop at a Jewelry Shop and a local market to get a lively view of the vendors selling their various merchandise.
Start your exploration of the 16th century Amber Fort. Ascend the hill to the fort by elephant ride while catching views of Jaipur’s original city walls and the Martha Lake below. Later, stop at local Rajasthan textile and handicrafts market. Marvel at the silk-weaving, embroidery, clothing and housewares created by humble villagers.

Engage on a full day tour to city of Agra, stopping in Abhaneri to visit the Chand Baori (stepwell). Chand Baori is one of the oldest and most attractive landmarks in Rajasthan. It was built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha Dynasty between 800 and 900 CE and was dedicated to Hashat Mata, Goddess of Joy and Happiness, upon completion. Upon arrival in Agra, the rest of the day is to be spent at your leisure.
When visiting India, you cannot miss the Taj Mahal. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”. Visit a local Marble Shop which offers incredibly beautiful marble art and craft.
In the afternoon, visit the red sandstone Agra Fort, built by Moghul Emperor Akbar in 1565 CE. The Fort’s incredible maze of courtyards, marble mosques, and lavish private chambers reflect the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Next to the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah “a jewel box” built of the finest Indian marble embellished with mosaics and inlay of semi-precious stones. In the central chamber, view the yellow marble tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah and his wife, hand-painted with floral decorations and screens of geometric latticework. Based on its layout, designs, and latticework, this mausoleum is considered the imminent precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Depart Agra for Delhi after breakfast, the rest of the day will be on your own to explore the splendor of India, we will board our homeward flight early in the morning the next day, so there is no hotel today.
We will leave India for home today by early-morning flight.
