6) All prices listed above are per person in U. S. dollars based on double occupancy. If three adults need to share one room and the third person asking forextrabed, the third person’s price will be the same as others.

7) Children 11 years and under who share a room with two adults and do not ask for an extra bed will be charged the listed child fare or 75% of the regular adult price; if they need an extra bed in the same room with two adults, the cost will be 90% of the regular adult price. Children 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult price.

8) Early depart or late return is allowed, the ticket change fee is $50 per person each time, in addition to airlines surcharge for different air class and weekend if necessary.

Itinerary

Day 1Hometown - Shanghai

Board an international flight bound for Shanghai, eager to begin our China vacation. Shanghai is the biggest city and a global financial hub in China.

Day 2Arrive in Shanghai

You will be greeted by our Shanghai tour guide and transferred to check in at your hotel where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.

Day 3Explore Shanghai (American Breakfast, Lunch)

Today’s city tour starts with a visit to the Bund and Cheng Huang Miao, and you will also experience the bustling shopping district of Nanjing Road and People’s Square and use your bargaining skills to acquire memento for this visit. After that, spend some free time at Shanghai Museum. You can easily spend a few hours to examine its rich and high quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy, with special exhibits and collection of 120,000 precious works of art, this museum has become one of the best in China.

Day 4Shanghai - Xian (American Breakfast)

Enjoy a free time until you take the flight to Xian. Xian, also known as Chang’an in the old days, was the starting point of the historic Silk Road. Upon arrival, the guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to hotel.

Day 5Xian (American Breakfast, Lunch)

You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). It’s known as the 8th miracle in the world. The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. After the Terra Cotta Army replication factories, visit the Ancient City Wall, 14th-century wall is one of the most completed city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty. Then, stroll around the Muslim Food Street.

Day 6Xian - Xining (American Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area, a significant cultural relic in Xian. Afterward, fly to Xining. Upon arrival, be met and escorted to the hotel at Xining.

Day 7Xining - Lanzhou (American Breakfast, Lunch)

In the morning, visit Ta’er Monastery, the largest monastery in Qinghai. After lunch, drive about 3 hours to Lanzhou. Upon arrival, have a good rest at the hotel.

Day 8Lanzhou (American Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, visit the White Pagoda Park and Waterwheel Garden. Then drive to Liujiaxia Dam where you would board a small boat for a stunning river trip through dramatic scenery to the Bingling Temple Grottoes, one of the five Grottoes in China. After the tour, drive back to Lanzhou.

Day 9Lanzhou - Xiahe (American Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, drive to Xiahe, which is well known for Labrang Lamasery, one of the six leading Buddhist lamaseries in China. Visit the Sangke Grassland flavor and visit a local Tibetan Family.

Day 10Xiahe - Lanzhou (American Breakfast, Lunch)

In the morning, visit the famous Labrang Lamasery. Then, drive back to Lanzhou.

Day 11Lanzhou - Wuwei - Zhangye (American Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, drive to Wuwei. Visit the Leitai Tomb of Han Dynasty, a large tomb built with brick and stone in the late years (186-219) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, as well as Wuwei Temple of Literature. Then drive to Zhangye and transfer to hotel.

Day 12Zhangye - Jiayuguan (American Breakfast, Lunch)

Today’s excursion includes Giant Buddha Temple, one of the major historic sites on the Silk Road and Wooden Pagoda Temple, which was built in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (557-588 A.D). Then drive to Jiayuguan and transfer hotel.

Day 13Jiayuguan - Dunhuang (American Breakfast, Lunch)

Today you’ll visit Jiayuguan Pass, the west starting point of Great Wall in Ming Dynasty followed by visiting Overhanging Great Wall. Then drive to Dunhuang.

Day 14Dunhuang (American Breakfast, Lunch)

In the morning, experience the desert flavor along with the Echoing-Sand Dune to Crescent Lake by riding a camel.Surrounded by the echoing-sand mountain, the Crescent Lake is a spring in the shape of a half moon, which can be called a natural wonder. Then, visit Mogao Caves- the World Art Treasure House. It is one of the world’s most important sites of ancient Buddhist culture.

Day 15Dunhuang - Beijing (American Breakfast)

Enjoy a free time and then fly to Beijing. Upon arrival, have a good rest at the hotel.

Day 16Beijing (American Breakfast, Lunch)

Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. Your Beijing tour begins at the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square’s perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, Pearl Factory, and Summer Palace whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming.

Day 17Beijing (American Breakfast, Lunch)

Today, you’ll visit the Great Wall (Chang Cheng), one of the greatest wonders of the world, after that, stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as ‘Yu’, and it has a history in China of at least four thousand years. In the afternoon, stroll around the Wangfujing Street.

Day 18Beijing - Hometown (American Breakfast)
