Fly to Beijing, the capital of China.
Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your luxury hotel. Enjoy a nice rest at the hotel.
The first full day in Beijing will start after breakfast with a visit to Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City where you can see the treasures of the Imperial collection.
After lunch, travel to the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China and declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
This evening, enjoy the Peking Duck dinner.
Today’s tour starts with the Temple of Heaven to see the Imperial Ceiling of Heaven with its Echo Wall and the Nine-Dragon Cypress, more than 500 years old.
Then stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade before heading to explore the Great Wall. It is one of the country’s most famous tourist attractions and one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. It runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties.
This morning you’ll board a plane and fly to Xi’an, a famous historical and cultural city in China.
Upon arrival, visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the most distinctive landmark in Xian, and Xian Museum.
The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses have been called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Nearly 8,000 life-size terra cotta soldiers and horses were buried about 2,000 years ago to protect the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, in the afterlife.
You will visit Terra Cotta Army replication factory and back to the city. Pay a visit to the Ancient City Wall of Xian, built in 1370 during the Ming Dynasty to completely enclose the city as protection against invaders.
Finally, fly to Chengdu.
Drive to Leshan, where you will see the Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest sitting Buddha in the world. Enjoy its full scenery by boat.
Then back to downtown and pay a visit to Jinli Old Street.
After breakfast, drive to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Center to witness the conservation efforts being made to save this endangered species. The center is the largest giant panda reserve in the world. Whenever China dispatches its animal ambassadors to zoos around the world, they usually begin their life in Chengdu.
Afterwards, transfer to the airport for flight to Lijiang.
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Black Dragon Pool, as well as the Dongba Museum. Then head to visit Rock Joseph’s Former Residence in Yuhu Village, displaying myriad precious photos and personal items of Joseph Rock, an American-Austrian explorer who spent 27 years here.
Finally, enjoy the Baisha Murals at Baisha Village and have a family visit here before being transferred to your hotel.

You can take a walk up to the Lion Hill to visit the Wangu Pavilion and get a panoramic view of Lijiang Old Town, or take a nice walking tour of the ancient Dayan Town, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the morning, drive to Dali, it will take about three hours. En route, pay a visit to a local market and stop at Xizhou, once a major stop on the trade route to Tibet during the flourishing of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644).
At Xizhou, we will visit the Yan’s Compound of the Bai people, to learn the traditional architecture style of Bai minority.
Here we’ll take a cruise to the beautiful and scenic Erhai Lake and marvel at the alpine environment.
During the trip, you will stop at one or two islands. Then continue on your trip to see the Three Pagodas at the Chongsheng Temple.
After that, you may have some free time to stroll around Foreigner Street, the central commercial area of old town. Then your guide will escort you to the airport for the flight towards Kunming. Your local guide will be waiting for you at the airport and take you to the hotel.
Today we’ll travel about 75 miles south of Kunming City to Stone Forest, one of China’s most unique natural phenomena.
The Stone Forest features towering peaks of limestone in some very bizarre shapes. Some of them are as tall as a 6-story building, and the entire area is over 200 acres. There’s a long path (about 1.2 miles) that winds through the deepest parts of the forest where you can spot caves, pavilions, and ponds – many of which have their own associated legends.
Then pay a visit to Golden Palace Temple at the top of Mingfeng Hill which is the home of the Taoist Taihe Palace and the biggest copper temple in China.
Free time until you are met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin.
A leisurely four-hour cruise down the Lijiang River from Guilin to Yangshuo begins the day. Enjoy the picturesque landscape, surrounded by the hills and bamboo that have inspired many artists over the centuries.
Upon arriving at Yangshuo, you’ll have the afternoon to explore on your own by either renting a bike or taking a walk around West Street, a 1,400-year-old street paved with marble. Explore some of the diverse and charming stores and shops around the area.
Later in the afternoon, drive back to Guilin.
in the morning, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and the incredible karst Reed Flute Cave, then visit a Saltwater Pearl Factory before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to check in at your hotel.
Today you’ll visit Yuyuan Garden, and soak up the more commercial aspects of shanghai including Old Street, Nanjing Road, and the Bund.
Visit a silk factory where you can do some shopping. Then step back in time at the Shanghai Museum, home to more than 120,000 pieces of art.
The tour comes to an end today, and it’s time to pack up all your belongings, mementos, and special memories as you get ready to return home.
