Fly to Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou Province. Guiyang is the heart of politics, economics, culture, science, and technology in Guizhou province
Upon arrival at Guiyang, your private guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel at Guiyang.
The highlight of today’s sightseeing tour is Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of the largest groups of waterfalls in Asia. Situated about 85 miles (137 km) away from Guiyang, Huangguoshu Waterfall consists of 18 falls above-ground and 4 underground falls.
Then, visit the nearby Tianlong Tunbao Ancient Town where you can enjoy the traditional opera – Daxi (Ground Opera), which enjoys the reputation of the “the living fossil of the ancient shows”.
After that, we will drive back to Guiyang City.
After breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours to Kaili, the capital city of the Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Southeast Guizhou.
Upon arrival, visit the Qingman Long-Skirt Miao Village, where you can see the local women wearing a kind of traditional dress, and experience the traditional way of dying cotton material.
Then, visit Shiqiao Miao Village where you can see the traditional way of making paper in Chinese. The history of making paper in this village is over 1,000 years.
After breakfast, drive to Rongjiang.
En-route, visit Jidao Long-skirt Miao Village, where you can see the well-preserved simple edifices as well as the traditional way of spinning and weaving.
Then, drive to Datang Short-skirt Miao Village, where you can see the traditional Miao women’s short skirt which has a history of 500 years as well as the waterproof and fireproof granaries.
You will then arrive at Rongjiang and check in the best local hotel.
In the morning, drive to Zhaoxing.
On the way, visit Basha Miao Village, which is known as the “Last Gunmen’s Tribe in China” because almost the men at the village have a blunderbuss for hunting.
Upon arrival at Zhaoxing, visit the Zhaoxing Dong Village, one of the largest Dong Villages, where you can see many Wooden Stilt Houses, Wind-and-Rain Bridge, and charming Drum Towers. Tonight you will enjoy the local singing and dance performance.
After breakfast, visit Tang’an Dong Village, known as the first ecological museum of the Dong people, where you can see the seven-story Drum Tower and enjoy the view of the terraced paddy fields.
Then, drive to Sanjing to visit Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge, a wonder of the Dong minority, which was built in 1916. Then, drive to Longsheng.
The highlight of Longsheng is the Longsheng Rice Terrace, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the terraces stretching layer upon layer.
After that, visit Yao Village, where you can see the Yao women show off their long hair. Later, drive to Guilin.
The highlight of today is a leisure cruise down the Lijiang River, passing through valleys, bamboo groves, and rice fields.
During the trip, you’ll take in the fresh air, feel the gentle breeze, and enjoy the spectacular landscapes, waterfalls and elegant hills among thousands of grandiose peaks.
Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you can enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure. We recommend riding a bicycle or walking to the countryside and experience the real Chinese farmer’s life.
In the morning, visit the Reed Flute Cave, where visitors will be dazzled by the spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and the mirror lake.
Then pay a visit to a Pearl Center before being transferred to the airport to take the flight to your next destination.
