Steps To Take When Filling A China Visa Application
China is gradually becoming a world trade center. It is involved in the manufacture of various things ranging from electronic items to mobile phones. Also, China has a very rich culture and is a good place to go on a tour. Having a Chinese visa is very important and is indispensable if you hope to visit China someday.
However, most persons are confused about how to apply for a Chinese visa. Here are the steps that will help you.
1) Start application process
A China visa can be obtained in many countries like the UK, Canada and all the countries in the EU. However, you must apply through the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC). If there is no CVASC near you, you can go to the one closest to you, or you can use an agency. This travel agency will help you apply for the visa. Furthermore, it is also possible to apply for the visa from another country, but this is quite risky. If you are already in transit, you can apply at an agency in Hong Kong. In filling out a China visa application, there are basic requirements you must follow.
2) Basic requirements
a) An original passport that has a minimum of six months validity and two blank pages.
b) A black and white photocopy of the page of the passport that contains your photo and also the page that contains Chinese VISAs (for those who have been to China before).
c) A recent color passport that has a light background
d) A photocopy of all your past Chinese passports (For people who were once Chinese citizens and are now foreign citizenship)
e) A proof of your legal status in the country you are applying from.
f) A completely filled application form. It should be printed and signed. You can get this from various official websites of CVASC.
g) A signed declaration (if you are applying through CVASC)
h) Printed copy of your appointment receipt (If you are applying through CVASC, you will be able to book a direct appointment)
I) An invitation letter that is obtained from a recognized entity or personality in China. The invitation is needed only when you are applying for a C VISA, L VISA, Z VISA, Q VISA and S VISA.
All of these requirements are very important, but as you go further in your China visa application process, you will be required to bring additional data. This additional data is dependent on the type of visa you are applying for.
3) Complete application process
The two first steps are the most important steps in China visa application process. When you have gotten to the CVASC or a reliable agency. And you have all the requirements stated above with the ones that will be required from you as the process matures, all you have to do is sit back and watch the process conclude.
These three steps are the primary steps involved in filling a China visa application. Be careful during this process as any mistake could cost you the application.
