Located on reclaimed land in Penny’s Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong Disneyland is the first theme park located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and the 11th theme park in the world. Covering about 100 acres (40 hectares), Hong Kong Disneyland has a daily capacity of 34,000 visitors. Since September 12th, 2005, the day it opened to the public, it has been attracting thousands of visitors every year, which is really a great place for family tours.
Hong Kong Disneyland is endowed some unique attractions, such as the Disney-themed Hotel, characteristic shopping, catering and recreational facilities. Similar to other Disneyland Parks, Hong Kong Disneyland is composed of six themed area including Main Street U.S.A, Fantasy land, Tomorrowland and Adventureland. Besides the well-known Disneyland stories, Hong Kong Disneyland has specially designed recreational facilities, performances and cruises in the park. In the park, the cast members such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie Pooh, Donald Duck, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty can be met. All the cast members speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin, so travelers could communicate with them easily.
Before entering the Disneyland, visitors can obtain a guide map at the ticket office free of charge, which is printed in traditional and simplified Chinese, English, French, and Japanese. On the brochure, the site map and performance schedule are offered, which would be of great guidance for wandering around this recreational paradise.

How to get there:
By Metro: Take the Hong Kong Metro accessible to Tung Chung Line and then transfer at the Sunny Bay Station for the Disneyland Resort Line.
By Bus: Take the bus R11 (to North Point) and R22 (to Yau Tong), Bus R33 (to Tuen Mun Railway Station) and R42 (to Tai Wai Railway Station) to get there.
