Fly to Zhangjiajie, one of the most spectacular natural wonders in China.
Upon arrival, the private tour guide will greet you at the airport and then you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.
After breakfast, start your visit on Tianzi Mountain, hiking to the top of Tianzi Mountain (2.5 hours) and do some sightseeing in Helong Park, Tianzi Tower.
Then we will drive to Yuanjiajie, which offers unbelievable views; including the floating mountain in the blockbuster ‘Avatar.’ After that, take the Bailong sightseeing elevator world down the mountain, which is the world tallest one at almost 1,100 feet (326 meters).
Then visit Ten Miles Art Gallery with the mountains by your side just like a real painting.
After breakfast, begin your tour of Huang Shi Zhai.
Take the elevator to the top of the mountain, where there are numerous lookout points for stunning views, from which you can see nearly half the peaks of Zhangjiajie. There is a popular saying which says that if you don’t visit Huangshizhai, you can’t claim you have even visited Zhangjiajie.
Then take the cable down the mountain. In the afternoon, we will walk 2 hours inside Golden Whip Stream Canyon, arguably the most beautiful canyon in the world.
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel.
The only stop in Zhangjiajie today is the Yellow Dragon Cave in Suoxiyu Nature Reserve. Yellow Dragon Cave, also Huanglong Cave, is the underground lost palace which has been praised as the most beautiful cave in the world by UNESCO Experts.
With an area of nearly 25 acres (100,000 square meters), more than 4 miles (7.6 kilometers) long, and over 400 feet (140 meters) high, complete with two underground rivers, four waterfalls, 13 caverns, and 10,000+ stalagmites and stalactites, it is an enormous limestone cave.
The Magic Needle and Chair of the Dragon King are famous sights in the cave. After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you to Fenghuang Ancient Town after 4-hours’ drive. Appreciate the fabulous night view of this ancient town.
Today, you’ll have an amazing tour in Fenghuang Ancient Town. It is located on the western edge of Hunan Province and next to Guizhou. Praised as the most beautiful tiny city in China, it sets an example of what villages were like before the start of modernity.
In the town, dozens of lanes are paved with stones that run between the wooden houses built on stilts. Generations of local people have stepped on the lanes and worn them down bit by bit.
Highlights of your tour will be Phoenix River rafting, The Former Residence of Shen Congwen, and the East Gate Tower, etc. Then transfer to Zhangjiajie airport and depart.
