Day 1. Beijing
Welcome to Beijing Capital International Airport, the 2nd busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic.You will be greeted by our beijing tour guide and transferred to check in at your luxurious hotel where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.
Day 2. Beijing (AB, L, D)
Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. We embark for a full day tour which begins at the Tian An Men Square (Tian An Men), noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City (Gu Gong) and Summer Palace (Yi He Yuan) whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming.
Day 3. Beijing (AB, L, SD)
Today, you'll visit the Great Wall (Chang Cheng), Ming Tomb and Old Hutong. We will hike along the the Great Wall, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a visit to the historic Hutong and Alley (Hu Tong) of Beijing old town with Richshaw Ride. Dinner is served with a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet(Kao Ya).
Day 4. Beijing/Xi'an (AB, L, D)
Visit the Temple of Heaven (Tian Tan), where the Emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties performed annual ceremonies of prayer to heaven for good harvest. Walk along the New Qianmen Street and admire the beautiful Bird's Nest National Stadium and the Water Cube up close. Later in the day, you will catch a flight to Xian. Xian, also known as Chang'an in the old days, was the starting point of the historic Silk Road. You will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Da Yan Ta), the most distinctive landmark in Xian. After that, we'll visit the History Museum of Shanxi Province. After dinner, you can stroll down the Muslim district to see traditional Muslin culture alive in Xian.
Day 5. Xi'an (AB, L, SD)
Xian, the former capital of many Chinese dynasties, has a rich history dating back thousands of years. Even in the prehistoric era, it is believed that the Lantian man lived here 500,000 years ago. The first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, unified China in 201 BC and made significant influence in Chinese history. When he died, an entire Terra Cotta Army was buried with the emperor in the mausoleum. It was well documented by Chinese historian about this mausoleum, but it wasn't until 1974 that this site was uncovered serendipitously by a team of farmers. This became one of the greatest archeological discoveries in history. You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). It's known as the 8th miracle in the world. The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. After a stop at the Bell Tower, you can enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet (Jiao Zi) and shortly after watch the world famous Tang Dynasty Stage Show.
Day 6. Xi'an/Hong Kong (AB, L)
Your visit to Xi'an is not complete without a visit to the Ancient City Wall (Cheng Qiang). Xi'an's 14th-century wall is one of the most complete city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty. You may practice Tai Chi or ride a bike to enjoy the scenery. Catch the flight to Hong Kong, transport to your luxurious hotel in Hong Kong.
Day 7. Hong Kong (AB)
You will be picked up from your hotel by your guide who will accompany you on your tour. The tour will last a time of maximum 5 hours. Hong Kong is a fascinating combination of East and West but it has its own unique and distinctive culture. Your half day tour will take in Victoria Peak, Hong Kong's number one tourist destination. It features the 112 year old Peak Tram and Hong Kong's most unusual building, The Peak Tower. Next stop is Aberdeen Harbor which is home to hundreds of people living on fishing junks. Own arrangement for the rest of today.
Day 8. Hong Kong (AB)
Transfer to the airport for you flight back home or your next destination city.
