Located on the Yangtze River 1st Road, Yuzhong district of Chongqing, Goose Neck Park is the first imperial garden built in Chongqing, which is a 3A national tourist sites in Chongqing.
Goose Neck Park is perched on the long, precipitous slope where the Yangtze and Jialing River cross from north to south. The park is just like the neck of goose, hence its name. Goose Neck Park backs the “Mountain City” and nestles along the Yangtze and Jialing River. Standing on Goose Neck Park and peering westwards, visitors can capture the steepness, magnificence, broadness and picturesque beauty of the park.
When visiting Goose Neck Park, the lofty Lansheng Pavilion, also known as Two River Pavilion, is not be missed. Standing on the pavilion, visitors will have a bird’s eye view of the park and command the breathtaking scenery of the two rivers. Appreciating the view of the sea at night is another highlight of Goose Neck Park.
