Day 1: Hometown to Beijing (In-flight Meal)
Fly to Beijing. All of your meals, beverages and entertainment choices will be provided on your flight.
Day 2: Arrive in Beijing (In-flight Meal)
Upon arriving at Beijing airport, you’ll get your first real taste of China and be transferred to your hotel.
Day 3: Explore Beijing
Today you’ll begin your China sightseeing tour. The first stop is Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the centre of Beijing. Then head for the magnificent Forbidden City, which stood as the imperial palace for China for nearly 500 years (from the Ming Dynasty all the way until the end of the Qing Dynasty), and, according to UNESCO, it is the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world. Take a 40-minute car ride from the Forbidden City to the Summer Palace, a favorite retreat in summer for many emperors during the Qing Dynasty. Finally you’ll finish today’s tour with a Peking Duck Banquet. The meal will be prepared by master chef right in front of you, and it is served with pancakes, spring onions, and hosing or sweet bean sauce.

Great Wall of China(Chang Cheng)
Day 4: Explore Beijing
Today you’ll get to see one of the most famous attractions in China – the Great Wall, which is known as one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world and runs about 5,500 miles through 150 different counties. Then you’ll visit “Bird’s Nest”, the National Stadium as well as the National Aquatics Center, known as Water Cube, which were built for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. It was in the Water Cube that the U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps emerged as the Gold Medal Winner. Then our guide will take you to an animal world - Beijing Zoo where you’ll have the chance to see the lovely giant pandas. At last, have a nice dinner before enjoying the iconic martial arts movie - “Legend of Kung Fu”. Food Amenities: American Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 5: Beijing to Xi'an
You’ll begin today’s traveling by rickshaw to Hutongs, another Chinese treasure that is slowly disappearing. Hutongs are the alleys that were created by courtyard houses where you can understand how families lived together as a community. The next stop is the exotic Lotus Flower Market where you would be amazed by the beautiful lotus flowers and various displays. In the late afternoon you’ll fly to Xi’an, a famous historical and cultural city in China. After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to experience some of the cultural diversity at the Great Mosque, in which the famous Muslim Food Street is located.

Day 6: Explore Xi'an
Today you’ll have the chance to see the Eighth Wonder of the World – the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses. Nearly 8,000 life-size terra cotta soldiers and horses were buried about 2000 years ago to protect Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China in his afterlife. Next you’ll visit Bell Tower, a landmark of Xi’an, which was constructed in 1384 after the residents of Xi’an suffered a major earthquake during the Ming Dynasty. Your dinner today will be the feast of the Imperial Dumpling Banquet, followed by the splendid Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

Day 7: Xi'an to Guilin
In the morning, you’ll tour another major landmark of Xi’an - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a temple built in 642 for the Tang Dynasty Buddhist monk, Xuan Zang. Like a Chinese version of Marco Polo, he made a famous pilgrimage to India (which was the inspiration for the novel “Journey to the West), and the pagoda was originally created to store the exotic artifacts he brought back. Then, visit the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an, which was constructed in 1370 by the Ming Dynasty to completely enclose the city. At last, board a plane for Guilin in southern China.

Day 8: Guilin to Yangshuo
Today you’ll spend about four hours on a boat, cruising down the Lijiang River from Guilin to Yangshuo. During the trip, you can enjoy the picturesque landscape, surrounded by the hills and bamboo that have inspired many artists over the centuries. Have your lunch on the boat just before arriving atYangshuo, where you’ll have a half day to explore on your own. You can bike or walk around West Street, a 1,400-year-old street paved with marble, or take a look at some of the diverse and charming stores and shops around the area. In the evening, enjoy a wonderful light show, “Impression of Sister Liu” (“Liusanjie”), which is directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou and performed by local villagers and fishermen.

Day 9: Yangshuo to Guilin to Shanghai
Drive back to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave, a natural wonder that is 180 million years old as well as the incredible Elephant Trunk Hill. Located at the junction of the Li River and Peach Blossom River, the Elephant Trunk Hill got the name because its formation resembles an elephant just enjoying a refreshing drink of water. Then take a flight to Shanghai and check in at the luxurious hotel upon arrival.

Day 10: Shanghai to Suzhou then back to Shanghai
In the morning, you’ll be driven to Suzhou, “Venice of the East”, which is famous for its canals and stone bridges. Our guide will take you to visit the Master of Nets Garden, a representative of all classic gardens in Suzhou and Hanshan Temple, a famous destination since the Tang Dynasty. Here you also have the chance to visit the Silk Spinning Factory and appreciate China’s silk culture. Finally, visit Suzhou Museum, which was designed by the famous architect, I.M. Pei.

Day 11: Experience Shanghai
Today’s portion of the tour will take you into Shanghai, China’s financial center. You can take some time to explore the commercial aspects of Old Street, Nanjing Road and the Lujiazui Financial Area before checking out the 120,000 art exhibits in the Shanghai Museum. Stroll around the Bund, the waterfront of Shanghai and the riverside of Huangpu River. A special farewell dinner of Shanghai Cuisine will be served after enjoying the world-famous Acrobatic Show.

Day 12: Shanghai to Home or Post-Shanghai Trip Extension
The tour comes to an end today, and it’s time to pack up all your belongings, mementos, and special memories as you get ready to return home. An optional extension tour can also be arranged upon your request.
